Construction of two checkpoints was completed at the state site of SEZ “Kulibin” in Dzerzhinsk
The construction of two checkpoints has been completed at the state site of special economic zone (SEZ) “Kulibin” in Dzerzhinsk. The facilities are currently being equipped with video surveillance systems, as well as access control and management systems.
The state site occupies most of the total area of SEZ in Dzerzhinsk – 416 out of 724.7 ha. To date, work on gas and electricity supply networks has already been completed, while local treatment facilities and roads are nearing completion.
In addition, the construction of industrial production buildings is also underway, including the installation of utility networks, roofing, and the assembly of metal structures, reinforced concrete elements, and facade panels.

Six more companies have become residents of ISTC “Quantum” Valley”
Experts have approved applications from six companies for resident status at the innovative scientific and technological center (ISTC) “Quantum” Valley”. The event was chaired by Egor Polyakov, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
“The Nizhny Novgorod Region pays special attention to the development of the IT sector, building a full‑fledged ecosystem to support digital projects – including through the center. Five of the six new projects are being implemented in the field of advanced digital technologies. To date, 58 companies are residents of the ISTC,” noted Egor Polyakov.

The Nizhny Novgorod Land Council approved a site for an industrial park in Dzerzhinsk
The Land and Property Relations Council under the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has approved the application of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Development Corporation for the allocation of a land plot in Dzerzhinsk to establish a state‑owned industrial park.
“We are carrying out systematic work to develop the investment infrastructure. We pay special attention to the construction of industrial parks with all the necessary engineering facilities. In 2025, the region was approved for a treasury loan to build the infrastructure of an industrial park in the Volodarsky district. In total, the region plans to establish six industrial parks in various municipalities,” said Egor Polyakov, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

Nizhny Novgorod practices for improving the investment climate were presented within the federal program “Management Excellence” in Moscow
The regional management team of the Nizhny Novgorod Region took part in a new stage of training under the federal program “Management Excellence: Developing Regional Teams”. Expert Council for the development of the “Kulibin” SEZ approved three projects with an investment volume of 1.9 billion ruble
The Expert Council for the development of special economic zone (SEZ) “Kulibin” has approved the projects of three potential residents. The meeting was chaired by Egor Polyakov, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
“The Development Corporation continues to attract new investors to the Nizhny Novgorod Region — investors who create production facilities needed by the regional economy and generate new jobs. The projects approved today are related to mechanical engineering, chemistry, and metalworking. Their output will meet the needs of several industries at once. We expect that the total tax revenue from the three enterprises over 10 years will amount to approximately 2.7 billion rubles,” noted Egor Polyakov.

The Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and NSTU signed a cooperation agreement on workforce training
Igor Ishchenko, Director General of the Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and Sergey Dmitriev, Rector of the Alekseev Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University (NSTU), have signed a cooperation agreement between the organizations. The document is aimed at developing the region’s educational potential and meeting the workforce needs of residents of special economic zone (SEZ) “Kulibin”.
Under the cooperation framework, the parties plan to train and retrain specialists, establish specialized departments tailored to the needs of SEZ residents, support targeted education at the university, organize career guidance activities for students – including tours of SEZ resident enterprises – and develop and implement new technologies in production processes.

Egor Polyakov, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Igor Ishchenko, Director General of the Development Corporation, and Vladimir Balakin, Deputy Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the region, have assessed the progress in constructing engineering infrastructure at the state site of the special economic zone (SEZ) “Kulibin”, as well as at the “Technopark H₂O” and the “Aksis” enterprise.
“The scale of work is impressive. At the state site, all necessary infrastructure is being built from scratch, while residents are constructing their enterprises to the most modern standards. Expert Council for the development of the “Kulibin” SEZ approved the project to establish electronics production
The Expert Council for the development of special economic zone (SEZ) “Kulibin” has approved the application of LLC “BR‑Technology” to obtain resident status. The meeting was chaired by Egor Polyakov, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
“At the first meeting of 2026, the Expert Council supported the establishment of a production facility for electronic components. The project will involve an investment of 300 million rubles. Demand for such products is high across many industries, so I have no doubt that the new enterprise will occupy an important niche in the region’s industrial landscape,” noted Egor Polyakov.
The company plans to set up a production facility for energy storage systems, electronic components, and automated process control systems. The products will be used in the transport sector, energy industry, oil and gas sector. The project is expected to create 33 jobs.

The Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, in partnership with LLC “RT‑Composite Gas Cylinders” – a resident of special economic zone (SEZ) “Kulibin” – has launched a new investment route for university and secondary vocational education students. The company specializes in the production of gas cylinders.
“More and more companies are joining our initiative to organize student tours, and we plan to expand this practice further. For students, this is an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the production processes firsthand and map out their future career paths. A section dedicated to investment projects in the field of cultural heritage sites has been launched on the investment portal of the Nizhny Novgorod Region: (https://nn-invest.ru/en/support/okn/). The service was developed by the Development Corporation based on data provided by the autonomous non‑commercial organization “Agency for the Preservation and Development of Historical Environment Objects of the Nizhny Novgorod Region” (ANO “ASIRIS”).
The section features a “Project Showcase”, which allows users to review a list of properties available for investment and subsequent commercialization. It also includes a “Become an Investor” form, through which one can submit an application to implement a specific project.
